These terms govern your use of our website and your participation in our wildlife safari tours in Udawalawe National Park. Our priority is to ensure a safe, enjoyable, and ethical wildlife experience for all our guests.

1. Booking and Payments

• All bookings are subject to availability and are only confirmed once full or partial payment (as agreed) has been received.
• The prices quoted are based on current national park entrance fees and local taxes. We reserve the right to amend prices if these fees change prior to your tour.
• Guests are required to provide accurate contact information to ensure smooth communication regarding pickup times and tour details.

2. Tour Itinerary and Changes

While we strive to follow the agreed-upon itinerary, the unpredictable nature of wildlife and weather conditions means that routes and schedules may change.

• Our experienced drivers and guides reserve the right to alter the route within the park to optimize wildlife sightings or ensure passenger safety.
• In the event of extreme weather or unexpected national park closures, we may need to delay or reschedule the safari. Please refer to our Refund & Cancellation Policy for more details.

3. Passenger Responsibilities

To ensure your safety and the well-being of the wildlife, all guests must strictly adhere to the following rules:

• Follow Instructions: Always listen to and follow the instructions given by your guide or driver.
• Remain in the Vehicle: Guests are strictly prohibited from stepping out of the safari jeep unless at designated safe zones authorized by park officials.
• No Feeding or Disturbing Wildlife: Do not feed, shout at, or throw objects at the animals. Keep noise levels to a minimum to avoid stressing the wildlife.
• Littering is Strictly Prohibited: Please take all your trash, including plastic bottles and wrappers, back with you. Let’s keep Udawalawe clean.

4. Liability and Insurance

Wild animals are unpredictable by nature. While we take every precaution to ensure your safety by using experienced drivers and well-maintained vehicles, we cannot be held responsible for unforeseen incidents.

• We do not accept liability for any personal injury, loss, or damage to personal belongings (including cameras and mobile phones) during the tour.
• We highly recommend that all guests hold valid comprehensive travel insurance that covers personal injury, medical expenses, and loss of belongings.

5. National Park Regulations

Udawalawe National Park is a protected area. Any violation of park rules by guests that leads to fines or penalties imposed by the Department of Wildlife Conservation will be the sole financial responsibility of the guest(s) involved.

6. Amendments to Terms

We reserve the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. The terms applicable to your booking will be those in place at the time your reservation is confirmed.
