What insects are commonly found in Udawalawe?

The park’s water bodies turn into a haven for dragonflies and damselflies, which are important signs of a balanced ecosystem. During the wetter months, mosquitoes become common, so visitors should use an effective repellent in the early morning and evening, when they tend to show up more often.
